Design and Planning

Most of our clients do not have a design professional on board when they first get in touch with us about a project. Thus, we offer a full range of design, architectural, color and product selection services, including initial feasibility studies, master planning, and fully detailed construction drawings and specifications. We research local zoning ordinances and special rules regarding wetlands or historic districts to assure the design will meet state laws and guidelines. Based on your wish list, we explore multiple design schemes to ensure we have considered all reasonable options to achieve the desired outcome. We will work closely with you to make all decisions up front, right down from the colors on your walls to your cabinet knobs. The goal of the design process is to prepare the project so thoroughly that the construction phase is smooth, efficient and as unstressed as a remodeling project can possibly be.

We can also work with the architect or designer you may have already hired. We find that design professionals appreciate our willingness to work with them to make sure the project is set up for success prior to construction. Once the project is in construction, they are particularly impressed (and relieved) that our execution of the design is as thoughtful and respectful as it is. This is how we turn ordinary into extraordinary.
